Now things are getting serious.... we got some "flying carpets" for the kids, and we take our almost weekly trip to the canyon to find snow.... Our first attempt through Hyrum canyon was not good.... for a strange reason, there was no snow up there on that side, so even though it is already late, we decide to go on Logan canyon..... We didn;t tell the kids what we had planned, but they knew that we were looking for some snow and a hill and that we told them to get covered... 2 pairs of pants, snow boots, sweaters, winter jackets, gloves, scarfs, beannies..... dry shoes in addition to the boots, lots of Nivea cream on the face.....
After 30 minutes drive from Logan, we finally find the spot we were looking for.... about 6 inches of snow, a 45/60 degres hill, no cars (but lots of snow mobiles around) and here we go for a nice sledding experience.....
